Meet Danny, a golfer with a remarkable journey that has brought him to the prestigious PMG Selby Golf Academy, where he currently shares his passion and expertise.

Unlike most golfers, Danny's introduction to the sport came later in life, having previously showcased his talents as a footballer for Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday. His promising football career, however, took an unexpected turn when a knee surgery brought his contract to an unfortunate end. It was at this pivotal moment that Danny discovered his true calling: coaching.

With an unwavering dedication to golf, Danny embraced the sport as a hobby and quickly achieved a handicap of 5. From there, he embarked on a journey that would ultimately see him turn professional with a remarkable handicap of +3.

In addition to his golf achievements, Danny holds an honors degree in Sport Science and Biomechanics, a testament to his commitment to understanding the intricacies of sports and human movement. He further honed his skills by completing his PGA qualification, becoming a true expert in the field.

With nearly a decade of coaching experience, Danny's expertise has been refined through his work at esteemed golf clubs such as Wheatley Golf Club and Doncaster Golf Club. Notably, he had the privilege of furthering his knowledge under the tutelage of the world-renowned golf coach, Peter Cowen.

Today, as part of the PMG Selby Golf Academy, Danny brings his wealth of experience and profound understanding of the game to help golfers of all levels reach their full potential.
